Couples Therapy in Mallorca

"Every relationship deserves a safe space to grow"

Couples therapy provides a safe and supportive space for partners to explore and resolve the issues that are affecting their relationship. Whether you're experiencing communication difficulties, recurring conflict, a loss of intimacy, trust issues, or major life transitions, couples counselling can help you understand the patterns that keep you feeling stuck and develop healthier ways of relating to one another. Together, we will explore how your personal history, family experiences, culture, and values shape the way you connect, communicate, and respond within your relationship, creating opportunities for greater understanding, emotional closeness, and lasting change.

Rebuild Connection. Rediscover Each Other.

Every relationship experiences periods of distance, conflict, or uncertainty. Couples therapy provides a safe, impartial space where both partners can feel heard, understood, and supported. Together, we'll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, and help you develop healthier ways of relating to one another.

What to Expect in Couples Therapy

Relationships can become stuck in patterns that leave both partners feeling unheard, disconnected, or misunderstood. Often, the issue is not a lack of love or commitment, but a cycle of interaction that neither person fully understands or knows how to change. Couples therapy offers an opportunity to slow these patterns down, explore what lies beneath them, and begin relating to one another in new ways.

Together, we will look beyond the immediate conflict to understand the emotions, needs, fears, and longings that shape your relationship. We'll explore how past experiences, attachment patterns, family history, and the demands of everyday life influence the way you communicate, respond to one another, and seek closeness or distance. As these patterns become clearer, new possibilities for understanding, trust, and emotional connection can begin to emerge.

Drawing on Person-Centred Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and systemic therapy, I tailor the therapeutic process to the unique dynamics of your relationship. Whether you're navigating recurring conflict, recovering from a breach of trust, facing the challenges of living abroad, or feeling that you've lost your way as a couple, therapy provides a space to reconnect with yourselves and with each other.

The goal is not to create a perfect relationship or to decide who is right or wrong. It is to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourselves and one another, communicate with greater openness, and build a relationship that feels secure, respectful, and emotionally alive.

"The goal of couples therapy is not to create a perfect relationship, but to help two people rediscover the connection that brought them together and build a relationship that continues to grow."  Kevin McCarroll
